Tuesday 17th September 2013, Today. Urban music channel MTV announced the nominees for the 2013 edition of the MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA). Guess what? Wizkid and Pop brothers P-Square were nominated.
They were nominated in the Best African Act category. Other artistes who also got nominated in the same category include South Africa’s Mafikizolo, Locnville (LCNVL) and Ghana’s Fuse ODG.
The winner of the category will represent Africa at the global music celebration.
Voting begins today at www.mtvema.com.
The Best African Act winner will move on to the next phase of voting which is the Worldwide Act category.
The show will be broadcast live on MTV (DSTV Channel 130) on Sunday 10th November 2013.
